Svolværgeita hike

Svolværgeita is one of Lofoten’s most recognizable formations and a bucket-list climb for adventurous guests. Standing proudly above Svolvær, the two granite towers are reached via a steep mountain approach followed by a guided climbing route to the top. The final move — a short jump between the two horns — is world-famous. Reaching the summit offers a dramatic 360° panorama over Svolvær, Vestfjorden, and surrounding peaks. This is not a hiking trail and can only be safely completed with a certified climbing guide. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, Geita is unforgettable.
