The closest airport to Lyngvær Lodges is Svolvær Airport (SVJ), located about 25 minutes away by car. This is the most convenient option if you want a short transfer and a smooth arrival in Lofoten.

No. Lyngvær Lodges is not a hotel. We offer a self-accommodating lodge concept based on Norwegian cabin culture, elevated for modern travel. You are renting a privately owned lodge, fully equipped and prepared for your stay, with privacy, space and independence.

Important: There is no reception or daily hotel service. Instead, you have your own lodge, your own rhythm and direct access to nature.

All lodges at Lyngvær share the same architectural design on the outside, but each one has its own character inside, as the lodges are privately owned and individually furnished. Prices vary based on size, number of bedrooms, bed capacity, layout, views, privacy and location within the area. Facilities such as a jacuzzi, sauna or EV charging also affect pricing.

The lodges are carefully positioned in the Lyngvær terrain, with differences in elevation and outlook giving all lodges some level of ocean and mountain views. Every lodge is set in beautiful surroundings, with the ocean, mountains, northern lights and midnight sun forming part of the experience, and with easy access to the wider Lofoten islands.

Self-accommodating means the lodge functions as a fully equipped home rather than a serviced hotel room. The lodge is prepared and ready when you arrive, and we expect it to be treated with care during your stay.

We ask guests to respect the property, leave it in the same condition as upon arrival, and handle simple day-to-day matters themselves. This is standard in Norwegian hyttekultur and part of the experience.

Yes. All lodges have a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher and fridge. You will find cookware, plates, glasses and utensils for preparing meals during your stay. Basic items such as salt, pepper and a small selection of spices are also available.
