From vision to quiet stays

Lyngvær Lodges is more than a place to stay. It is a calm base in the heart of Lofoten, shaped by light, weather and the people who call this place home.

Lyngvær Lodges is more than a place to stay

From Lyngvær, you are close to it all. Beaches, hikes, villages and experiences are within easy reach, while the lodge remains a calm place to return to. This is the heart of Lofoten, where nature is always nearby and comfort waits inside.

Lyngvær is designed as a base, not a destination you have to plan around. Spend your days exploring, or slow down and let the weather set the pace. Either way, the lodges give you space to pause, reconnect and experience Lofoten on your own terms.

The lodges are set away from light pollution, giving dark skies for northern lights and star-filled nights. Large windows and quiet surroundings bring the sky into your living room.

Every lodge is made for comfort in shifting weather. Heated floors, natural materials and soft lighting create a warm atmosphere after days outside.

A private wellness experience rooted in Nordic tradition. Step from cold air into the heat, or sit in the warm bath while aurora moves above you.

Designed for more than cooking. Fully equipped with quality appliances and space to gather, the kitchen lets you bring local ingredients and family moments to the table.

From summer hikes to winter nights, the lodges are robust yet welcoming. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame peaks, sea and shifting light, while layouts fit couples, families and groups.

Lyngvær Lodges began with a vision, to create a place where modern comfort and wild nature meet.

Lyngvær Lodges began with a simple wish: to share Lofoten in a way that feels both close and calm.
The founders, Vebjørn and Oliver, chose Lyngvær for its rare balance — sea, peaks and harbors within minutes, yet quiet enough to slow down.
They designed the lodges with large windows to frame the shifting light and warm interiors for evenings with family and friends. From the start, the goal was clear: create a modern base that respects the landscape and lets every guest experience Lofoten up close.
